Evaluate the Final Blog Presentations

Each student is required to complete this assignment by using the Comment section of this blog.

Include your name and GUST ID to get credit for your answer.

There are two parts to this assignment. Please answer both questions below.

1.  Other than your own blog (final) presentation, which presentation do you believe deserves the award BEST BLOG PRESENTATION? Please describe the blog, include the student’s name (if you know it) and explain why the blog/presentation deserves this award. You must be specific.

2.  Which blog do you believe has the most potential for success but was not the best blog presentation? Please describe the blog, include the student’s name (if you know it) and explain (specifically) why you would expect this blog to be successful.

Please note that attendance will be checked for the presentation days and if you were not present you cannot receive a full mark for this assignment.

    1. In my opinion the one who deserves the best presentation award is Fajer. Her blog's title was Face it and it was about beauty products that she used and were effective. She deserves it because she did not stand behind the desk to present, instead she got in front of it and used the body language effectively to get our attenstion. Also, her language was clear and she seemed confident.

    2. The blog that has the most potential for success but was not the best blog presentation is Nabeela's. Her blog is about reciepes of quick healthy meals. I expect it to succeed because although there were many other blogs that talked about healthy food, she was the only one who could differentiate her blog from the others. As she mentioned, it is not just about providing people with food recipes, but also she wants to build a community and let other people participate as well.

    1. I think the one who deserves the best presentation award is Fajer. Her tittle was Face it and it about skin care and beauty .She deserves it because she have very high self confident and her english was perfect. Also, she is marketing a products that she really use.

    2. The blog that has the most potential for success but was not the best blog presentation is Badreya. Her blog about Dubai. I expect it to succeed because she was the only one who talked about Dubai and kids and that could differentiate her blog from others. As she mentioned, it is not just about traveling, its about knowing were to go and how to spend a good day and you don't need to have large amount of money. Also, she mentioned the places that kids will really enjoy. providing people with good place and country to visit.

    1- Fajer's blog (Face It) deserves the best presentation award. The blog is about skin care. She deserves the award because the way she presented was very amusing, she asked a question to make us interact with her and she shared a joke which made us all laugh.

    2- Douaa's (beautyXshock) is the most potential for success in my opinion. Her topic attracts a large number of audience nowadays since a lot of women are becoming more interested in makeup. The posts in the blog are written professionally and it seems that she really cares about what she is writing about. Sharing her honest experience with the readers make her blog more credible which attracts viewers.

    1) In my point of view, I believe that “Face it!” Which is Fajer’s blog deserves the award best blog presentation. Her blog is talking about cosmetics specifically skin care products and what I really loved about it that she’s providing us videos of her experiences. Moreover, she was very clear during her presentation that she will include in the blog whether the product work or didn’t work for her; she was very clear about the credibility of her blog.

    2) I believe that “Beauty & Glam” which is Rula’s blog has the most potential for success but was not the best blog presentation. The blog educates females about makeup and includes reviews and easy tips on how to use and apply makeup. Nowadays, women especially here in Kuwait are very interested and eager to learn more about makeup. In addition, women can find answers to all their questions and concerns about makeup in this blog. Thus, the blog has a great chance to be successful in the future.

    1- I think duaa deserves the best blog presentation, she used many marketing tools that we learned about from previous marketing classes to explain her ideas, also she seemed confident and comfortable talking about her blog

    2- The blog that has potentials for success is Fedda's blog, her blog has a new idea that is different and would attract many girls since many people now are going to environment-friendly products

    1.The blog that deserves the best blog presentation award goes to Fajer. Her blog is called Face it! It is mainly about skin care and how can you improve your skin based on her experience. She truly deserves the award because her blog was creative as well as interesting. What I really liked on her blog was the advertisement that she created which was about Clinique “Take a selfie with confidence” and she was actually taking a selfie on the ad. It shows how hard she worked on her blog.

    2. The blog that has the most potential for success is Anfal’s blog which is called I believe I can fry. Her blog is about fried food. I expect this blog to succeed because its stands out from all the other blogs. She doesn’t just posts about recipes she also posts her favorite fried food restaurants that I find every interesting.

    1) Yousef, the guy with a goatee and a cap had the best blog presentation. His video blog (vlog) was mainly about photography. His work looked nice and creative. The blog design and videos was done professionally and were of high quality. He presented his blog in a clear and straight to the point manner. He also had good English. Moreover, the fact that he knows how to combine and put the ads was another positive thing about him and his blog.

    2) Ali's blog (Real Madrid C.F.) which is basically about everything related to Real Madrid team, from matches to history to the life of the players outside the stadium. I believe his blog has a great potential because of the fact that he is a big fan of his team and very enthusiastic about them. Which reflects on having a great motivation to work on his blog for his favorite team and produce decent work. and i believe motivation is one of the most important factors to succeed with your blog. Also the overall visual appearance of his blog was quite nice.

    1. I believe the blog that deserves Best Blog Presentation's award is Ahmad Shewaikani's blog. The blog is about fitness and healthcare and it includes useful articles about health, fitness, and diet. Also, the blog gives a lot of information about how to exercise to became what you are looking for, and to have a healthy lifestyle. In my opinion, I think this blog deserve the award because it includes pool of useful and great information that came from personal experience. Finally, the theme of this blog is close to the theme of mine because in my blog I am talking about football and Ahmad's blog talk about diet and health, so I feel myself concerned in his blog somehow.

    2. The blog that has the most potential for success but was not the best blog presentation is Mohamad ElGhol's blog. The blog is about BOND 007, and in the blog we can find all the information that related to BOND 007 since it was released, including cars, actors, music, and their partners such as ASTON MARTIN and LAND ROVER. I expect this blog to be successful because there are millions of 007 fans that are highly related to the series of BOND movies. Finally, this movie has fans worldwide, and because of this, the blog would become an international blog.

    1. I believe that the one who did the best presentation is Fajer, with the blog name Face it. The blog was about beauty products that she has used and she recommends. She deserves being the one with the best presentation award because she was so confident and she did not hide behind the desk to present instead she got in front of it and used body language to effectively send out her message and grab our attention. On the other hand her layout of the presentation and language was clear and the message clearly reached everyone she presented to.

    2. The blog that mostly grabbed my attention and was the best to me is Dana's under the name My Jordan. Her blog was about tourism in Jordan. I believe it will succeed because if was different than all the other topics chosen for other blogs, and that helped differentiate her blog from other blogs. She didn't only make it seem like she was marketing Jordan but also made me feel like I would love to go to Jordan specially that she used one of her personal photos to give an example for her AD, and I could relate to it because I was in some of the photos which has been used, and this made me feel touched , and excited to visit Jordan again.

    1. In my opinion, the blog called “Soul behind the photo” deserves the best blog presentation. The video blog was created by Yousef, I do not know his last name. The content of his blog looked very presentable and well organized. The videos posted on the blog were high in quality. He had very good english and explained everything in detail.



    2. I believe that the blog “diet-4fitness” done by Ahmad Shewaikani, has the most potential for success. The blog is all about fitness and how to stay fit. This blog would be a success due to the fact that people nowadays are all into fitness and eating clean to stay healthy, so this blog would gain more viewers and readers everyday. The blog includes a lot of useful information about health and types of workouts a person can do.

    1.In my opinion i believe that the best blog presentation belongs to shahad. Shahad's blog, the nature minimalist, was clearly presented and thought out. I really appreciated the effort she put in on the video she presented to us. Also, she was very clear on who her target market is and on explain her overall blog.

    2. I believe the blog that has the most potential for success is fit for life. I really liked sheikha's overall idea and felt like it will be very successful. With the big health trend happening in kuwait now, i feel she tapped into the right market at the right time. I love how she highlighted specific success stories of how people lost weight and started living a healthy life style.

    I think the best blog presentation belongs to Shahed I LOVED her blog "The Nature Minimalist". The recipes were very thoughtful and witty, quick and easy recipes. The fact that she was the only food blog that didn't require cooking or baking was genius. I loved the whole concept this idea is not only I think great for Kuwaiti students and workers but will take off worldwide. The simplistic way of her videos and recipes give a very clean feel which will appeal to everyone. The fact that she used stop motion which is a long and tedious process makes you feel like she really invested time and effort into her blog. I am in love, Shahed if you read this please continue on to your blog I will definitely be a reader!

    The blog that I believed had the most potential was Nabeelah's blog YumFast, because I found the recipes very easy to cook and I'm no chef. The recipes were light and delicious and were not at all long to prepare which is the basis of her blog. I like how she incorporated Kuwaiti based ads in her blog. This is actually what we need here in Kuwait especially university students who sometimes throughout the year have different schedules so if we don't get back at home on time for lunch I can just cook. I loved it and it is very convenient for people who don't have the time or energy to cook.

    1. The presentation that deserves the best blog presentation award is Nabela’s, which is YUMFAST, because she was so confident she did not hide behind the desk, she had a clear language, and a load voice that grabbed my attention.

    2. The blog that has the potential to succeed is Face It, which is Fajer’s blog. The blog was about beauty and skincare, she was marketing for Clinique by giving us her opinion about products that she has been using for a long time and that is 6 years. What attracted me on her blog were the videos because she was giving us her personal review. Lastly, the ad that she made all by herself with her own creativity, also she included her own Ad with the bunch line “take a selfie with confidence”.

    1. In my opinion, BEST BLOG PRESENTATION goes to Lana. She had short recipes and step by step easy instructions to follow. I found it very useful because I have a busy social life and a healthy appetite for desserts, I related to the blog. The blog's videos were nice to watch and weren't boring at all!

    2. In my opinion, the most blog likely to succeeded is Shahad the natural minimalist. The layout and ads would catch any inverters' eye. The articles were informative and the videos were easy to follow and you can tell she worked hard to make her blog as perfect as possible.

    1. I believe “The Chocolate 411” blog deserves the award “Best Blog Presentation”. This blog belongs to Sabeeka Almishari, and it displays videos that teach viewers how to cook delicious chocolate desserts with simple ingredients. In my opinion, this blog deserves the award due to the fact that it has great demand, especially in the Kuwaiti market. Most people love chocolate, and they always look for creative and easy ways to cook chocolate desserts at home. In addition, the videos on the blog are fun to watch, which grabs the attention of viewers. Furthermore, the presentation was fun and interesting, and desserts were distributed at the end of the presentation, which made everybody in the classroom happy and pleased.

    2. In my opinion, Fajer’s blog, “Face it!”, has the most potential for success but was not the best blog presentation. The blog provides tips and information about skincare routines and reviews about skincare products, which are based on personal experiences. Nowadays, females are more interested in increasing their knowledge about this topic, and they are willing to know which products to use in order to keep their skin healthy and clean. In addition, the fact that the reviews are based on personal experiences creates credibility, which is what users seek and want, and that will increase the number of viewers in the future. Moreover, the videos posted on the blog are spontaneous and short, which will grab the attention of viewers.

    1. The best presentation award will go to Fajer. Fajer's presentation was really professional and very clear. Fajer explained the concept very well and went through all of her blog's content in detail.
    2. Personally, Jenan's blog, Jenan's Kitchen, has a potential to succeed. Jenan has a a clear video tutorial on how bake a specific dessert. In addition, to make it easier for the readers to understand how to bake the desserts Jenan included photos for each step. There were informative and useful information in the blog when it comes to baking these desserts. Jenan has made a lot of effort, that's why I believe her blog has a potential for success.

    1. In my opinion Fajer's blog "Face It" deserves the best presentation award. I really liked the idea of how she is planning to do the advertisements. As she mentioned she will use the whole blog page to advertise for a single brand, by that she will differentiate her blog from others, and also will be more credible for her viewers.

    2. The blog that I believe has potential for success is shahad's blog "The Nature Minimalist". I really liked her video that she created using stop motion technique she had to take 600 pictures just to make this short video. I feel if she continue blogging, her blog will be different than other cooking blogs, because her recipes require no cooking, moreover her video editing technique are very fun and interesting to watch.

    1. the good blog presentation award goes for Ali Daher. The blog about real Madrid football club. Ali analyze the blog In a good way he express the blog in a professional way. also he describes the whole content of the blog. In addition Ali delivered the idea of the blog.

    2. I found the most successful blog is Nawaf`s blog which is Tesla Electric Car. the idea is very bright and smart. Today the whole world is looking for alternative power source for cars instead of oil because of the predictions of shortage in oil sources in the future.     1. I think Ahmad Shewaikani’s presentation about “fitness and health” blog was the most effective. Shewaikani presentationskill was excellent, for example, he did not hesitate during presentation. He was sure of his facts, so he was confident in presenting his “health and fitness. In addition, in his presentation he skillfully highlighted useful information about diet plans, exercise and how to have a life style change. So, I think in terms of presentation, Ahmad Shewaikanis presentation deserves the merit and award.



    2. I think Ahmed AlGhaith’s blog titled “Sports Bikes in Kuwait is a potential blog. However, AlGhaith presentation of his blog was not as effective as the blog itself. Personally I think that AlGhaith’s blog could bring about lot of benefits not only for his as a provider of blog services, but it will also be very useful for his target audience. For instance, I am sure that motor bike marketers, agents and distributors in Kuwait as well as in the global market place will be greatly benefited through AlGhaith’sblog. In addition, I am also sure that the blog will useful to bike lovers. In summary, from a value and a monetary perspective, I think AlGhaith’s blog is very potential; however the same cannot be said in the case of AlGhaith’s presentation effectiveness.

    The blog that I believe that the best Blog Presentation was Nabeelah's "YumFast" blog, because her voice was clear and she grasped my attention more than the other presentations. Her presentation contained everything about her blog and the content was very neat. I also checked her blog and the recipes were easy to make and looks very delicious and they don't take much time to prepare. This makes our lifestyle much easier and convenient for people who don't have the skills and time, which is very helpful. Thanks Nabeelah!

    In my opinion, Sabeeka Almishari's blog, “The Chocolate 411”, has the most potential for success but was not the best blog presentation. The blog is very informative, it contains videos that teach the viewers how to make chocolate desserts with no skills and simple ingredients. She added a story in the video which makes it more fun to watch! I loved the way she lists all the ingredients needed under the video, which makes it easier for the viewer to know what he/she needs to make the delicious dessert! I hope you will make more videos soon Sabeeka!

    In my humble opinion, the blog that I think deserves the "best blog award" is Jenan's blog (Jenanskitchen). I like how she gave the typical food blog concept a cultural twist by revolving it around traditional Kuwaiti/Arabic desserts, as I truly believe they are worth high worldwide/international recognition. I also liked the simplicity of her instructions, as when I think "lgaimat" or "qatayef" or "mhalbiya" I always associate them with long and hard hours spent in the kitchen, but her posts/video showed how simple and doable the processes actually are.

    The blog that I think has the most potential is Lulu's blog (urbannights), because I found her idea to be very unique. From what we see and hear, couples these days usually tend to head out of the country for romantic getaways, but thanks to Lulu's blog they'd have a guide as to where some great places to spend quality time together would be here in little old K-Town. I think her idea would also help Kuwait's economy and tourism rates, as I'm sure many couples would want to come to spend the weekend in Kuwait to explore these amazing new local concepts that are arising.

    PS- I think all blogs were excellent & I honestly felt so inspired by everyone's ideas and concepts. Great job to all!

    The blog that deserves the best blog presentation is Fajer's, under the name Face it. It was mainly about beauty products and skin care and her experience of using these products and which she recommends. Her presentation was truly creative and interesting.  Her presentation was very catchy and she grabbed everyone's attention by the way she was presenting which full confidence and she used as much as possible body language to send out her message and clarify it.


    2. The blog that mostly grabbed my attention and I believe it deserves to be the best is Anfal's which was called I believe I can Fly. She talked about comfort food or in other words junk food but made it sound so interesting. I liked the way she laid out her information and talked about it which helped me differentiate her blog from other blogs which discussed junk food also, but her blog stands out in between all the other blogs.

    1) I think that Fajer's blog about beauty care deserves the best blog presentation award. She used live vidoes filming herself using the products for demonstration. Her presentation skills were very attractive as well. She easily got my attention and made me interested in her blog. Her blog was also well organized and neat.

    2) The blog that can succeed and has a huge chance to be a large business in Kuwait is the one done by Muneera about the old places that people forgot about in Kuwait. She did a lot of effort in discovering those places and highliting the most important ones that have the potential to be something great if they are developed. Since there are many old places in Kuwait that poeple don't know about, this blog draws the attention towards them. This could result in establishing a bussines related to constructing such places, and I think this will be huge.

    1.) In my opinion the blog that deserves the best presentation award is Fajer’s blog “ Face It”. The blog is well organized and caught my attention the minute she started presenting. I liked every single part about the presentation and the content of the blog and purpose. The thing I like the most about her blog is the she did her own real advertisement. Fajer showed that she gave the blog a lot of energy and worked hard on it.

    2.) On other hand, the blog that has the potential to succeed in Kuwait is Nabila’s blog “ YumFast.” A lot of girls presented a healthy food related blog, but Nabila’s blog was the one that I liked the most. It’s unique, beneficial and well organized. We need more blogs like Nabila’s in Kuwait, that will teach us how to cook meals in a short period of time.

    1.) The blog which deserves the best presentation would be shahad's blog "The Nature Minimalist". i loved everything about her presentation and the blog itself. She spoke very clearly in her presentation and had a very nice video. What i liked the most about her blog was that it was a nice idea of how to make a quick meal in minutes.

    2) In my opinion, the blog which showed great potential was Lulwa's blog about date night. I loved how it showed us different gift ideas for him and her as well as different places to have a good time out. She also included family days out which was a nice addition to her blog. I really wished their was a real blog like this in Kuwait, so we could benefit from it.

    1.) The blog that has the best presentation is Badriya’s blog” kids’ day out DXB”. Her blog is very unique and is not in the industry yet which is a big selling point. A lot of people will be using the blog if they go to Dubai and for sure I will be one of them. The blog will attract a wide range of foreigners who live in Dubai or only visiting for a vacation, who are looking for a place to go to as a family day out.

    2.) The blog that I believe will have potential success is Fajer’s blog “Face It.” The idea of her advertising for a new product/company each month is what I liked the most. People will learn more about each product and how it’s used and will find something new each month. Putting her personal experience with each product will attract a lot of customers. For sure this blog will succeed if she keeps the effort.

    1. In my opinion, the blog that deserves the best award is Fajer's blog, "Face it". Her blog was all about beauty and skin care products. What i liked the most about her blog is that she provides videos on how to apply each and every product to your face. She has done a very good job at explaining and presenting her blog.

    2. I believe that the blog that is likely to success is Jenan's, "Jenan'sKitchen". I like how she provided videos on how to make cultural (Kuwaiti) desserts. She presented in a clear way. Her blog was organized and easy to go through.

    While all of the presenters did a fairly good job, I think the best presentation was done by Hamad Al Zuaabi, who presented his blog called “books, books, books”. I think he did a fantastic job of describing his blog, highlighting the purpose and services offered by his blog. I personally liked the way Hamad highlighted his target audience which included publishers, booksellers, authors and even books lover. From his presentation I am confident that his blog will have a dual benefit for him as an owner as well as for his prime target audience. So, I think Hamad Al Zuaabi deserves the award for best presentation on his blog.

    The most potential blog
    I think Ali’s blog which was titled as “Real Madrid C.F” is the most potential blog, because the blog provided very useful information about the Real Madrid, about the team members, and extraordinary achievements by “Real Madrid”. Personally, as a young Kuwaiti and lover of soccer myself, I think Ali’s blog will hit among soccer fans in Kuwait. People in Kuwait are very passionate about soccer; so I think the blog is very potential. Therefore, I am sure that the blog will attract a large number of audience; ranging from soccer lover to corporate entities.

    Yumfast was the best presentaion. Perfect english, good information and very informative. She convinced us that it is very easy to have a healthy life style.

    Shahed's blog ( that nature minimalist ) really liked her video and how she captured 600 pictures to make a very fun and creative video. Plus the articled were very informative and helpful.

    1- I feel like Nabeelas presentation "Yumfast" was the best presentation. She was able to draw in the audience and get her point across clearly. In my opinion she really sold the idea of the blog to me.

    2- I believe that Fajers blog "Face It" would be great if she would continue to work on it. Her blog is very informative, direct, and entertaining. She is able to comminicate well with her target market as seen on the video posted on her blog. With some work i see that she can take her blog on a more professional level in the future.

    1) In my judgment Fajer's blog "Face It" earns the best presentation award. I enjoyed the concept of how she is arranging the advertisements and videos in order. As well her English was fluent and presented very professionally.
    2) The blog that has the most potential for success was Nabeela’s. Recipes of quick healthy meals. Speaking of healthy food these days everyone is looking for healthy living and lifestyle and her blog was an easy way to that road. Confidence with presenting I see potential for expanding her idea.

    1) The best blog presentation was Fajer's blog "Face it!". Fajer's presenting skills were on point, she was confident and convincing. The blog provides tips and information about skincare routines and product reviews. What I loved the most about her blog was that every month she'll be reviewing and talking about a different product line or brand.

    2)The blog that has the potential to succeed is Fedda's blog "411 Green Beauty". I love that fact that it isn’t the typical beauty blog since it’s all natural and organic. With the growing market of natural and organic beauty products Fedda’s blog would certainly attract lots of investors and readers. I really liked all the natural DIY’s and at-home remedies and if she continues blogging I would definitely be a reader!

    1) Yumfast by Nabeela Al Sabah.
    In my opinion, her blog was the best because of the way she presented it. It was clear and straight to the point. She added a small video and shared her own cooking and how it was easy and fast to cook. Her presentation was clear, she mention who her target audience was and why her blog was unique. The blog attracted me mostly because she shared recipes for foods that can be cooked within 30 minutes or under. It had a variation of dessert and a main courses. In addition, she was not nervous which made the presentation very nicely presented. She did not read anything which also made it not boring. The blog itself had a very nice layout and design. The colour of the blog was very calm. The ad’s that she had was very appropriate to her “theme”. She used up the 5 minutes very clearly on how to promote her blog and why it was the best. I would recommend this blog to anyone that enjoys cooking and is always in a hurry.

    2) Most potential for success:
    I think the most potential for success blog was the “breast cancer blog” (I don’t remember the name).
    In my opinion, this blog was very touching. It united all the cancer patients suffering from breast cancer to one blog. Each patient can read the blog to get motivated, stronger or even to know that they’re not alone in this battle. Even families of those who are suffering from breast cancer can read the blog and be stronger. The stronger the people surrounding the cancer patients, the stronger the cancer patient is. The presentation was not bad, however, I liked the theme of the blog more than the presentation itself. This blog would be successful because the idea was unique and very inspiring. I would recommend it to all women that are suffering from breast cancer.

    1- the best blog, in my opinion is Yosef Al-Ibrahims' blog. It was about photographing. I liked it because the topic is a trend now. So it will be a smart move to take this chance. It also a hobby with a lot of help needed. That will attract more visitors to the blog seeking for help. Moreover, he represented his blog in a good way. It was well organized and his language was good.
    2- I like Mohammad Al-Ghouls' blog too. It was about 007 series. A series is big and old with huge fans base like 007 will attract many visitors. What is special about this blog is that it contains everything about 007 series.
