Your Twitter Campaign assignment required you to demonstrate creativity and persuasion, along with other criteria. Some of the tweets were creative; few were persuasive. But here are two examples of very good work:
Most of you provided information in your tweets, but not in a creative manner. These (above tweets) are two of the few tweets that achieved creativity. These tweets provide information, but in a creative manner.
Tweets need to be persuasive and therefore you need to tell consumers what to do. What do you want them to do? Click on something? Visit a site? Try a product? Invest money? Buy a service? Persuasion can be implied -- it is in the two tweets above -- but there's no substitute for telling people what you want them to do. Because many of them will do what you direct!
Overall, most of you need to devote more time and effort to your assignments. Many of you need to improve English usage as well.
Marketing is a professional activity. It is not something to be done casually. Therefore, proper English is required. You can expect to be required to exert effort and knowledge as you complete assignments in MRKT 410. Anything less and your grades will suffer. The outcome, however, is entirely up to you!
