I would like to use Google+ because I really like to communicate with different people and look at their interest, I also wanted to share my locations sometimes with my friends so I would use it. AL Jazi 10182
ReplyDeleteI agree with you, Google+ has a superior advantage over Facebook by providing the feature of sharing your location with friends. It is also very easy to find people with similar interests in Google+. Noor AlMajed 11656

Google and facebook both have wide popularity and users all over the world for me I prefer to use facebook which I found more interesting. Mohamed alghoul 6911

DeleteWe are alike in the fact that we both prefer using Facebook. However I believe that a huge part of the reason behind our preference is that we have known and been using it since a very young age, as it’s one of the oldest social networks. It feels more familiar to us and we became subconsciously more attached to using it as we grow. Though now I see that it’s time for us to start exploring and familiarizing ourselves with the other famous social networks like Google+, as this is no more just a personal matter to us. It’s now career related, and we will need such expertise as potential marketers.
Ahmad Shewaikani 11562
I agree with you, as it relates to the popularity of both sites, however, I prefer because it helps me manage what feeds I want to see, instead of constant memes.

I first used Facebook as a social network I agree with you that the issue behind is get used to something and never want to change. but, if we but on mind what google+ is offering and how easy it is and the feature of google+ we would change our prospective of social network Mohamed alghul 6911
DeleteI would use Google+ since it makes it easier for me to use YouTube and even watch videos with my friends. Moreover, Google+ allows me to group my friends together in one circle to categorise my followers the way I want. It is also much easier to search for something or someone because there are an existing segments or groups of people with similar interests. Noor AlMajed 11656
ReplyDeleteI personally liked Google+ more than Facebook. This is because Google+ has more privacy, I can post whatever I want, such as a picture, and choose the circle of friends that I want to view the picture. Lolwah Al Shatti_9170
ReplyDeleteEaxactly! I do not have to worry about what should I posts and wheter it will interest others who added me or not. I can share the right things with the right people.

I agree with the fact that Google+ provides a lot more privacy than Facebook. I find that privacy is very important online, people are more so attracted to platforms that provide certain privacy settings for its users.

As for me, I have a Google+ account just for convenience, and to log into YouTube. Otherwise I don't use it as a social network, because to me there is no need for the extra functions that it offers over what Facebook already has, and because most of whom I have connections with online do not have a Google+ account.
ReplyDeleteOn a different note, I will probably start using it soon more often and get myself used to using it. Because as a future marketer I have to be knowledgeable about it, as Google+ is one of the fastest growing social networks. It will add to my credit, and the business where I’ll be working at in the future might be in need for someone who has experience in it.
Ahmad Shewaikani 11562
I would recommend you to start using it more because in short time it reaches 343 million active accounts, and as a marketer, Google+ becomes one of the largest markets in the world that any firm nowadays would like to be there to advertise about its products or services.
DeleteAli Daher 9624
I would use Google+, because it is easy to upload photos and videos and to edit them to make them look better and more enhanced. Also, photos uploaded on Google+ are organized according to the locations or events, so it is easier to find them when I want to.

ReplyDeleteI would use Google+ for several reasons, but the most important reason for me is that there are 343 million active accounts in Google+, which is more than Twitter that has 270 million accounts. From business owners' perspective, this huge market that growth quickly can not be ignored.
ReplyDeleteAli Daher 9624
I would rather to use Google+ than Facebook because it helps me to not only organize my feeds but also to manage what I want to see. It allows me to join communities that discuss topics that interests me. It also allows me to control what I want to see on my feed rather than pointless posts of unnecessary and most times inappropriate posts. It is so easy to make friends and actually regularly communicate with them, rather than just have a ‘friend list’ that consists of strangers not willing to actually become friends. Furthermore, I think, Google+ is the future platform for social media!

In my opinion, I would not use Google+ as one of the methods of communicating and socializing with others because it is not as popular as the other social media sites. In addition, the majority of people who I have online connections with are not familiar with Google+. Furthermore, most of my connections are active on Facebook, as it is a widely used social network and at the same time, it is easier to use. However, I would not ignore Google+ and use it for future purposes, such as businesses, to become more knowledgeable and familiar with it, hence, it will be considered as an advantage for me.

I totally agree with you regarding the circle feature. Circles in Google + are very useful. In addition to your point, circles are private, no one can see what you have named your circle, or in which circle they have been put in and that is great!
DeleteAayaa Al Tahan 10332
I would use Google+, because it allows you to organize all your connections into "circles" and treat each circle separately. For example, you can have a circle for co-workers, family, friends, and acquaintances. Also, Google+ has numerous slick features like Communities, Events, Hangouts and much more. However the biggest reason to get a Google+ account is if you already use several Google services like Gmail, YouTube and Maps you will need to get a Google+ account eventually.

Additionally, I am with you that Facebook is more popular social network than Google+ especially here in Kuwait between our society due to its convenient features.
DeleteRania Zahi 10267
I agree with you, what's the point of using social networking websites such as G+ if your social group is not engaging in such social network. Moreover, even businesses in Kuwait rarely use Google+ unlike Facebook. So, unless Google+ will increase their popularity in the region, I will stay satisfied with using Facebook as my social media tool.

Google+ ensures more privacy and confidentiality than Facebook and other social networks. It enables me to find and select people of interest and avoid so much disturbances. In this way, it helps to expand and enrich knowledge fields. Google+ also provides many facilities such as accessing through Gmail account, uploading photos, smartphone apps, group video chatting and others which helps to keep in touch with various circles of friends and relatives. However, Facebook is still more famous and widespread than Google+ especially in the Arab region.

I would personally choose Google+ over Facebook for several reasons. The first is the fact that it combines all the Google supported applications in the one place and being an Android user this decreases the need for communication across several platforms with the same message. Moreover, I would prefer the use of Google+ as it allows for the "cirlces" or communities which means I can share something with a specific set of people without the need to send a direct message or alter my privacy settings.
ReplyDeleteAhmed Alzayed - 12021
I agree, Google+ seems more appealing due to its variety of features. If you are a person who is passionate about your interests, then certainly, Google+ would be an easier way for finding people, due to its “Circles” feature. Nevertheless, it would be more convenient to go along with a social media network that has integration with other Google services.
DeleteLana Abo Al Niaaj 11209
I would definitely use google+, because it has the Circle feature that is completely customizable. For example, you can create a group that consist of a family member, and friend but you share the same interests. So basically by grouping your Circles you can select and control what you want to see and read from others' posts in addition to what you want people to read from your post. This means that you can interact with the people you grouped in the way that suits your interest best.
ReplyDeleteSabeeka Almishari

In my point of view, I think Google+ is better because of its “Circles” feature, since it allows users to organize all their followers into different groups the way they want and also allows them to integrate with other Google services, like commenting on a YouTube video and saving their work on "Google Docs". Moreover, Google+ seems to have more facilities than Facebook does, and also ensures more privacy and confidentiality.

ReplyDeletewould not use Google+, that is simply due to the fact it does not really popular in this region.Social media platforms such as Instagram, Snapchat, and Twitter are the popular social media platforms that are used in Kuwait. I feel like I am more so drawn to them simply because my friends and family are on those platforms. Google+ is virtually non existent in Kuwait in terms of usage.
ReplyDeleteAnother reason is that Google+ has way too many features on it and I am more so attracted to simpler platforms such as the ones that I have mentioned above.

I personally would not use Google + just because of all the social media platforms available this just doesn't appeal to me personally. From what I have seen and researched its a social media that seems to be more like a professional out let for businesses and companies and entrepreneaurs rather than network where its main reason is to connect people. Anyways its not widely popular in this part of the world, and from what I've seen its mostly just used for bloggers that write about fashion or love.

I disagree, personally i find Google+ to be very appealing due to its many unique features. One feature that i find to be extremely helpful is the "circle" feature. This feature allows for a user to create circles in which they add certain friends to view the content added in that specific circle. Out of all the social media channels i have used Google+ is the only one with this privacy feature that i find to be very helpful.

After looking more into Google+, I'd confidently say that I would in fact start using it. I am someone who values privacy, and the fact that I'm able to group people into "circles" and choose what I get to share with each group is what sold me. Additionally, I constantly forget which email/password I set for each of my social media accounts, and it takes quite a lot of time out of my day(s) to either try to remember it or go through the whole "reset password" process; furthermore, using one email and password across all Google accounts is very convenient for me. Moreover, I appreciate the ease that comes along with the use of Google+, and knowing that it revolves around customer-satisfaction is also a huge bonus.

In my opinion, I believe that I prefer using Facebook. It more common between the people of my society and I believe that a major part of the reason behind my answer is that Facebook has been in the social media for a longer period of time and has proven themselves to be one of the most successful social media programs. On the other hand, I wouldn’t mind using G+ anytime soon but I believe it still needs more time to prove its self and reach to the level of Facebook, and be able to really compete.

In my opinion, Google+ is much better than Facebook in many ways. One of the best ways is it's private settings. Google+ respects the user's privacy much more than Facebook. Photo sharing and conversations on Google+ stays private from the world and even your other group of friends. While on Facebook your private conversations and photos might pop-up on other people's news feeds. As a girl, I would prefer to use Google+.
